You all really need to check these guys out. They not only repaired my laptop but then they walked me through everything and made sure I understood every step. While it was being repaired they sent updates all along the way so I knew exactly what was happening and when my laptop would be finished. They are professional and know their stuff. I won’t go to a big box store ever again.
The keyboard on my laptop broke apart (a long to longer-ish story) and the situation seemed grim but South City Computer was able to get the job done! The service was fast and quick, the keyboard works like new, and the entire staff was really friendly and professional. I would highly recommend South City Computer to anybody having computer repair issues! I know that I will be coming back here for any and all computer related issues that I may have in the future! Its great to see a small business doing great work and doing good in the neighborhood!

I walked in a desperate situation having been told by big tech support chain that i would need to spend the cost of a new computer to fix mine and be without it for 2 weeks. I was advised to get a second opinion by a friend and I am so glad I walked into South City Computer! Not only were they able to restore my computer the fix didn’t cost the price of a new one!! The IT service was very timely and was surprisingly high quality. The building is even ADA compliant which is super exciting for me because I’m in a wheelchair. The employees are very nice and friendly. You will be happy you took your computer here!

I went to South City Computer on the off-chance that they’d have a rather obscure cable for adapting an old piece of hardware to a new laptop with different (newer) connections. They did not, but they found one for me locally and even emailed the business to have them set it aside for me. I was not charged for this service and even got to pass my time there playing with the pet cat! Everyone there (including the cat) is competent/friendly/welcoming. Support this local business, or risk doing business in some cold, catless, big-box institution! I’ll definitely use these guys in the future.
After several people advised me that I probably needed a new computer, and after pricing a new laptop, I decided to try South City Computer repair. Much to my delight, my computer was fixed the same day! and at a huge savings!. Their prices are fair. They also were kind enough to wait after the store closing for me to pick up my computer.
