Do you remember the 5 1/4 inch floppy disk? The 5 1/4″ Floppy Diskette had a “whopping” 1.2 MegaBytes of storage space. That is probably not enough space to store 1 image from your digital camera or smart phone these days, but back in the day these disks used to store entire software applications. It would take nearly 2084 of these 5 1/4″ floppy disks to install Windows 7 on a computer.
